Requirements for extra-provincial registration:
We specialize in registering corporations into Canada and specifically into Alberta.
Alberta has the distinction of being the least expensive place in Canada to incorporate a
new company, register an existing company or to carry on a new business. The following rules apply when you want to;

Register in Alberta any existing corporation from any
other Canadian jurisdiction. Or
-
Register in Alberta, or
any other Canadian Jurisdiction, any corporation currently
registered and active outside Canada.
1. A NUANS name search report.
This is the official search report required by the Alberta
government to confirm the proposed corporate name is
available for registration in Alberta. Prior to ordering a name search report you should
conduct a Free
NUANS pre-screen of the proposed name to see if it is in use in Alberta.
2. Head Office Address of corporation.
This is the address of the principal place of business in
the home jurisdiction.
3. Home Jurisdiction Information.
Corporate access
or registration number, date of incorporation, name of jurisdiction.
4. Principal Business of Corporation.
A description of the business carried
on by this corporation in the home jurisdiction.
5. Confirmation that the Corporation is valid in Home
Jurisdiction.

jurisdiction maintains a record of the status of all
corporations active in that jurisdiction and does issue
confirmation of any corporations status. We need an original copy of the
status report clearly showing the company in is currently
active and in good standing..
6. Attorney for Service Information
An extra-provincially registered company is not required to
have any directors who are resident in Canada. However, it is
required to have a person act as "Attorney for
Service". The "Attorney for Service" is any individual (not necessarily a
lawyer) who will be responsible for receiving official
documents, on behalf of the corporation, once registered. In
most cases Arvic is appointed as the "Attorney for
Service". If not then we need to be provided with;

Name of Primary Attorney

Name of Alternate Attorney * optional.

Address of Attorneys complete street address,
including postal code, phone, fax and e-mail.
7. Directors of the Corporation - name and complete address
An extra-provincially registered company is not required to
have any directors who are resident in Canada. However, the
corporation is required to name at least one director and
provide his residence address. The name and full address,
phone, fax and e-mail of at least one director of the
corporation is required. Directors who are not Canadian
Residents will also need to provide a copy of a valid drivers
license, passport or other form of identification.
8. Charter Documents required to be filed with each
application
If the corporation is an active Canadian corporation then we
require;
If the corporation is an active corporation, but not a
Canadian corporation, then we require;

Certificate of good standing or confirmation of last
annual return if filed less than six months ago.

Certified copies of existing charter documents as
filed in home jurisdiction.

Certified copies of any and all amendments filed in
the home jurisdiction..
9. Copies can be certified by:
Government official, a company officer or, a notary
public under seal.
