Login Help - General This site
uses both a Login ID and an Account # to access different areas on the
site. The Login ID is used to
access the Free services on this site We have tried to make both 'Passwords'
for the Login Id and Account # the same to alleviate some confusion. Login
ID: your email address You will only have an Account # if
you have previously purchased corporate products such as NUANS reports,
Incorporations, Registrations, or Minute Books from us before.
If we have your
email address we can send all your information to you.
If we don't have your email address,
contact us, and we'll update your account. If you are already an Arvic
client, then the first time you use the new online system may be difficult. We
may not have your email address on file, or you may not be set-up as a
"User" on your Account. Therefore, call us and we can supply you with the information you
need The Pre-screen Area is considered one
of the Free Services we offer our customers. Therefore, your 'Login ID' will be
the email address you signed up with, and the 'Password' is an
auto-number/letter combination we generated for
you. At any time, you can have
your Login information Resent
to you. The Pre-screen Login
Area is case sensitive, and sometimes the numbers zero "0" and one
"1", can look like the lowercase letters "o" and
"l" in the Passwords. Therefore, it is best to cut-and-paste your
Login information into the table, or try the 2 letter/number variations
explained.
Login Help - NUANS report orders
Existing Arvic corporate customers:
you will need to use your Arvic Account # and the Password we generated
for you to gain access to ordering NUANS reports online. It
will resemble: AB01DC, or if you ordered recently it will be a # such as 12345. You can have
your Account # and Password emailed to you. You
can also have multiple "Users" on your online Account. If you would
like multiple employees set-up onto the online ordering system, please contact
us and we will be happy to create new Users for you. New
Users: You will need to sign up as a new user if you have never purchased
products or services from our corporate department before. Signing up for the
NUANS Pre-screen service will not supply you with the User Account you need in
order to authorize your online order.

Understanding the Pre-screen Results
The
most important thing to remember is that this Pre-Screen is a 'sampling' of the
NUANS database (which is a governmental database, not ours). The pre-screen can save you a lot of time and money, but please
be aware that there may be conflicts that appear on your NUANS report that did
not show up on the Prescreen. With
that being said, here's how to interpret your Prescreen results. We searched "Arvic" and the following results appeared. JUR= the jurisdiction and registration number. AB for Alberta, ON for
Ontario, CD for Federal, etc. Which
NUANS Package should you order? Basic, Deluxe, or FullServ
The
Basic NUANS report may be tempting to order, but it really should just be
ordered by Lawyers who can clearly evaluate the NUANS report, decipher potential
conflicts and make an informed judgment on the Registerability of the proposed
name.
The
most common NUANS report is the Deluxe because it is fast and we personally look
over your NUANS results, outline potential conflicts, and provide you with our
opinion on the Registerability of the proposed name.
The
FullServ report is for the person who does not wish to perform their own
prescreens. We pre-screen the database to see what names could pose a problem
for your registration, and we also give suggestions to make your name more
registerable.
All
the NUANS packages used to be priced at $53.50, therefore, any way you go you
will be saving money and receiving your report from a trusted NUANS report
provider.
NUANS report delivery guarantees
"Quick" NUANS reports: The
"Quick" NUANS reports are delivered to you by email within 4 hours
depending on the time you submitted the NUANS report to us.
All NUANS reports, and reports
submitted after 4:00 pm (MST) are guaranteed by 10 am the next business day. The
"Not-so-Quick" NUANS reports are subject to provincial government
approval, therefore we can not directly guarantee the delivery time for these
reports. Sometimes the approval process is fast, and sometimes it is not. This
is the standard delivery timeline for the "Not-so-Quick" name search
reports.
We would love to have the opportunity to build a working
relationship with new law firms and accountants and businesses needing Corporate
Paralegal services. If you wanted to contact us, we
can discuss what services your law firm or accounting office would need from us
and add you to our long list of satisfied clients. Then,
you would have the option to be billed monthly instead of having to pay by
credit card for every NUANS, incorporation, Trade Name registration, or
completed Minute Book.
You will need your GST number if your sole proprietorship, Partnership, or corporation will be doing over $30,000 in sales per year. Getting your G.S.T number is very simple. You can either go to the Canada Revenue Agency web site or you can go to your local CRA government office and apply for it in person.
