Step One

One of the first things you should do after your web site is launched is get it listed on the top 10 major search engines. We have made this process easy by providing a page that will do this for you. Start by going to our "Get Listed" page. However, before you list your site make certain the site tells your story.

We are not going to attempt to tell you how to design your web site. We have left that in the capable hands of others. What we will suggest is the content you need on your site. Remember!! Your site was developed for the sole purpose of making more people aware of who you are. Therefore, make certain it tells the story correctly.

Read a couple of articles to give you the concepts behind what we would hope you want to accomplish. We invite you to learn all about marketing on the Internet by reading the following articles written by leading experts in their field.

  • I Could Learn a Lot from Toyota is an article by Bruce W. Marcus which describes how lawyers can learn how to market services based on the way manufacturer's market wares.
  • Web site Planning and Creation For Your Law Practice is an in depth look at how a legal web site should be designed.
  • Marketing Made Easy is an excellent article that list some 26 ways to improve your firm's visibility.

Traditionally, lawyers, while appreciating the need for marketing, have not been good marketers. The sites list the firms "areas of practice" and in some cases provide resumes and e-mail of the staff. Clients who come to site already know who you are. They come to see what you are offering in the way of Free Information and Advice. They are looking for you to educate them. If you will agree with us that "Education is the highest and purest form of marketing", then you can see why education must play a prominent roll in you web site. Discover how you can use education to attract new clients and increase referrals. Read Trey Ryder's unique, innovative, dignified and highly profitable marketing methods. This system works! However, it only works when you take steps to avoid the Marketing Mistakes that claim so many "business people".

Remember the Rules

Carrying out a marketing program involves four essential steps for success. Your marketing program must;

  1. establish your credibility,
  2. generate interactions between you and your prospects,
  3. gain your prospects commitment, and
  4. maintain your client's loyalty.
    Programs that don't achieve all four steps will fail.
